In the Vitamix Aer Disc jug of 1.4 litres, the classic knife has been replaced with a special flat disc which can be used to froth an airy foam. The jug is 100% BPA-free plastic and can withstand both cold and heat. Vitamix Aer Disc jug fits all Vitamix Ascent models - i.e. A2300I, A2500I, A3500I. The Aer Disc pitcher has Interlock, which means that the blender recognizes the pitcher and sets its programs according to the pitcher. In addition, the jug and blender also detect whether the lid is correctly fitted.
