Dead Cells combines elements from roguelike games and metroidvania games. The title was developed by the independent French studio Motion T więcej→win. In Dead Cells we find ourselves in a dark fantasy world. The action is shown from the side, and the areas visited in the game are multi-level. The core of the game is the exploration of gloomy locations, including dungeons, a prison, a clock tower and sewers. Most of the locations in Dead Cells are procedurally generated - with each new playthrough of the game, the arrangement of corridors, rooms or caches with treasures is completely different.
