The self-centering tip prevents wandering and ensures a quick and easy start, and the black oxide channel quickly removes chips. The hexagonal shaft makes the drill very stable with secure locking between the drill bit and chuck, which strengthens the core of the drill bit and reduces the risk of breakage for bits with a diameter under 6 mm, thereby achieving even greater reliability. This PointTeQ drill is suitable for drilling in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastic. With HSS spiral drills PointTeQ active cutting is achieved along with perfect centering thanks to its two-part tip. It's type N (drill point) boron 135° point made according to DIN 338 standards.
