The self-centering tip prevents wandering and ensures quick and easy starting, and the black oxide channel quickly removes chips. The hexagonal shank makes the drill very stable with a secure locking between the drill bit and chuck, which strengthens the core of the drill bit and reduces the risk of breakage for bits with a diameter under 6 mm, thereby achieving even greater reliability. This PointTeQ drill is suitable for drilling in alloyed and non-alloyed steel, non-ferrous metals, cast steel, cast iron, and plastic. With HSS spiral drills PointTeQ active cutting is achieved along with perfect centering thanks to its two-part tip design. It's type N (drill point) boron 135° point angle manufactured according to DIN 338 standards.
