Over the past 40 years, Assos has been constantly developing its fabric, making it more aerodynamic and improving the overall qualities of the fabric. All these experiences are now being used here in the RSR S9 Targa shorts, where they have developed a new fabric and a new fit that together provide a completely new experience, unlike anything Assos has done before. The strategically placed stretch zones make the shorts almost disappear on the body, so it feels like they're not there. This new type of fabric also provides sun protection UPF50+. The cushion is again something Assos has been developing for many years, it consists of 9mm thick microshock foam placed under their 3D Waffle. At the front, they have their sundeck superlight which allows air to enter the front. As always, they also make use of the Goldengate stitching where the cushion is not sewn into the sides so it can better move with your body.
